Breastfeeding Support
What is a consultation?
A 30min -1 hour session in which the mother voices her concern about breastfeeding. As a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor, I access the concern and give one to three possible solutions with a plan for follow up to see if the concern has been resolved. Follow up calls, texts, or counseling sessions don’t count as one of the three sessions.
- Consultations are included in the price when you hire me as a Birth or Postpartum Doula if you choose to breastfeed.
- Three breastfeeding consultations are included when needed when I'm hired as your birth doula. If more are needed or wanted it will be at my discretion to continue to counsel you or refer you to an IBCLC for care.
Breastfeeding Consultations - $20
For the initial session if not a prior client.
Follow up is included up to three sessions. If I can continue to provide help after three consultations for additional issues that may arise another $20 will be charged for each three consultations for various questions and concerns that may arise along your breastfeeding journey. If by the third consultation the same problem is occurring client will be referred out to an IBCLC.
